# ZaFlip, South African domain marketplace

> ZaFlip is a marketplace exclusively for South African domains (.co.za, .org.za, .net.za, .za). Sellers list a domain with an asking price or accept offers. Ownership is verified via a DNS TXT token before a listing goes live. Buyers pay with South African cards, EFT, or SnapScan through PayFast. ZaFlip takes 10% commission on sale, no listing fees. Domains transfer between registrar accounts as normal, ZaFlip does not custody domains.

ZaFlip operates out of Azure App Service in South Africa North region. The site is built in ASP.NET Core and focuses on the South African internet market specifically, where generalist marketplaces like Afternic, Sedo, and Dan.com have thin coverage of .za TLDs. Many brandable listings are offered as multi-TLD bundles (for example .co.za plus .com plus .site plus .online of the same brand name) with a bundle discount.
